考量替換Dropbox Plus 至其他付費雲端空間，如Sync.com的事前評估

Dropbox 老牌子雲端儲存服務，
市佔率大且穩固，
不會如其他新創小公司，
突然無預警宣布倒閉。
而且雲端儲存服務穩定，
上傳下載速度佳。

可是，
或許為以後IPO上市考量，
在意公司整體盈利數據表現。
幾個新增進階功能，
如：Smart Sync。
原有付費個人會員權益無福享用，
還要加價升級高一級的會員等級。

官方論壇怨聲載道，
起鬨等不及結清結束Dropbox Plus 付費帳戶了。

只是為了異地備份，
多備份一份資料放在雲端空間，
附加的加值進階功能，
倒也不是非用不可。
只是評估同樣的年繳$99，
Dropbox 只提供 1TB，
而其他雲端儲存服務商，
如：
Sync.com 價錢DM，pCloud 價錢DM，
略低 $3～4 零錢，
給予的是雙倍的2TB 空間。
而且若是 1TB 或是 2TB 空間太大存不滿，
這兩家也提供另一種輕量選擇，
價錢對半，年繳近 $50 的 500GB 方案。

如果註冊免費帳號，
備份一些小文件檔案，
上下載的速度，
不敢說和Dropbox有的比。
只要速度能接受，
就算慢還是可以上傳下載順利，
基於精打細算省些錢，
可能會把Dropbox Plus 結清不續期，
選擇其中之一掏錢購買空間備份。

對於Sync.com 加拿大雲端儲存服務商，
主打訴求為存留檔案隱私，加密，安全，
不相干的外人，和服務商本身都無法窺探。

網路翻閱一些評測文章，如：
Sync.com Cloud Storage – SCAM or LEGIT? ，
提到說雲端主機幾乎架設在加拿大多倫多境內，
上下載的速度品質，
決定在 ISP 用戶直連至加拿大網路頻寬好壞。

也有提供免費帳戶註冊 5GB 空間，
並透過滿足幾項特定條件要求，
加贈 1 GB 儲存空間。
也大手筆宣傳推銷，
只要舊戶提供專屬 referral code鏈接，
邀請新戶註冊帳戶等，
雙方兩人都額外多獲得 1 GB 空間。

順應本人的評估慣例，
關於 Sync.com 雲端空間，
付費不續期官方檔案保留原則。

Sync.com 官方的幫助中心文件，
沒有寫到這個部分。
但是有提供技術支持郵件信箱，
不懂的部分可以發問。

Mega 雲端空間同樣的問題，
一樣寄信給Sync.com 客服，

得到的訊息如下：

Q：If paid subscriptions expire, my personal pro account is downgraded to starter, what happens to my files over storage quota?
A：If your subscription expires your account will be placed in a suspended state, meaning you will not be able to change or add and files, until you are back under the new storage quota or re upgrade your account.

Q：Does your system delete files automatically after a few months of no-payments?  
A：No, your files will not be deleted, however, you will not be able to add any additional files.
       
Q：How long does your system retain my files?          
A：Indefinitely.        
       
Q：I understand that my files over storage quota cloud not be added or changed, but are these files available to downloaded and viewed even if my paid account expired for a long time?      
A：Yes they would still be available to download and view even after your paid account expires.
